A new fruit juice with cholesterol-lowering claims has been developed for Marks & Spencer.
The Red Grape, Blueberry and Blackcurrant Super Juice, available now, is made with a blend of fruits boosted by oat beta glucan the soluble fibre from oats, which has been proven to help lower cholesterol (rsp: £1.40/300ml).
The newcomer would provide an "easy, on-the-go" option for consumers looking for functional juice products, the retailer said.
Each serving contains 25% of the 3g daily intake of oat beta glucan recommended by EFSA for reducing cholesterol levels.
