Findus has made yet another hire at its UK frozen business, poaching Mars' David Bell as its new commercial director.
Bell worked at Mars for more than 20 years in sales and marketing positions, most recently as the senior sales director for UK chocolate.
He also held international, European and UK roles across the ice cream, gifting/seasonal, baked and sugar business units.
In his new role, Bell will be responsible for channel and customer strategy and category management across the whole UK & Ireland frozen business.
"His appointment will help us to build a new level and depth of relationship with the major retailers to unlock a joint category and growth plan," said Findus UK & Ireland managing director Leendert den Hollander, who took up the role earlier this month following the surprise departure of Mark Escolme.
