Premium cake and breads manufacturer Finsbury Food Group's acquisition of the Lightbody Group is to be completed today.
Finsbury bought out the celebrations cake manufacturer for £37.5m, after shareholders voted in favour yesterday (22 February).
“As two separate companies both Lightbody and Finsbury were excellent and we are now ready to forge an exciting partnership going forward from today,” said Finsbury chief executive Dave Brooks. “I know the whole team in the new, enlarged group can't wait to get cracking on the exciting opportunity.”
