Tim Proudlove has been appointed group operations director for bagged salad brand Florette.
In a newly created role, Proudlove, who has worked for Greencore, Northern Foods and Premier Foods in operational and commercial roles, will be tasked with building brand innovation and quality.
"Consumers have high expectations of product in premium categories such as bagged salad so will be looking to brands for the reassurance," he said. "My role is to ensure we continue to deliver this, and continue to create differentiated product propositions."
Florette MD Mark Newton added: "Tim's experience of working across an extensive portfolio of convenience brands will help us to align our business for the significant growth and new category opportunities that we believe the Florette brand can readily unlock."
