Ireland's leading black pudding supplier has launched two new products in the UK. Clonakilty Black Pudding and White Pudding (rsp: £1.69) arrived in Budgens in July. Clonakilty's recipe was developed in the 1880s and is mixed once a week by company owners the Twomey family.
"This special blend of ingredients gives Clonakilty its unique taste, crumbly texture and distinctive flavour," says brand manager Michele Santry.
Country Crisp Honey & Nut (Jordans)

Jordans Country Crisp Honey & Nut (rsp: £2.69) combines baked oat clusters with honey, flaked and chopped almonds and slices of Brazil nuts.
"Consumer and category insight shows a significant opportunity to grow the everyday taste sector with adult indulgent products," says Rob Lemon, senior category manager at Jordans.
Malt Toastie Loaf (Soreen)
Launching: September 2011
Soreen is positioning itself firmly within morning goods with the first ever Malt Toastie Loaf. Retailing at £1.39, the loaf will launch in Asda, closely followed by a fruity variant.
"We saw a gap in the market and felt it was time to inject some excitement into morning goods, adding value at the same time," says Katherine Collins, brand manager at Soreen.
Tropicana Citrus Breakfast Juice (PepsiCo)

The latest Tropicana offering a blend of orange, sweet blood orange and lemon made with 100% juice was developed specifically for breakfast and retails at £2.20. "New fruit blends are the primary driver of the category," says Patrick Kalotis, head of marketing at Tropicana and Copella.
