Mr Filbert's Impeccable Peanuts (Filbert's Fine Foods)

Upmarket snacks specialist Filbert's Fine Foods has launched Mr Filbert's Impeccable peanuts to meet consumer demand for healthy snack products in a smaller, lunchbox-friendly format. The 40g packs come in three flavours: Tangy Tomato, Sea Salt and Herb, and Sweet Chilli and Mango flavours, with an rsp of 99p.
Harvey Nichols and Harrods are already confirmed as stockists, and alongside retail, Filbert's is also using the new range as an entry into the pub and wine bar sector.
Penn State Popcorn (Intersnack)
Launching: May 2011
Intersnack is expanding its Penn State brand into the popcorn market. Newly launched Penn State Popcorn, available in Sweet & Salt and Monterey Jack Cheese flavours, builds on the US theming of the brand's core pretzels range. There are plans to expand the Penn State brand further with a range of nuts, scheduled to launch later in 2011. Rsp is £1.29.
ViP's What's Up Wasabi (New York Delhi)

New York Delhi is capitalising on the success of its ViPnuts with a brand extension into Japanese snack wasabi peas. What's Up Wasabi peas have a natural green colour and an authentic wasabi kick, and retail at £1 for 50g. New York Delhi has also extended the ViPnuts range with three new flavours Classic Sea Salt, Bollywood Barbecue and Manuka Honey & Mustard.
Oloves Multipacks (Oloves)

Olive snack Oloves is launching multipacks, each containing four 30g pouches of ready-to-eat olives, with an rsp of £2.79. The packs will come in three varieties, including two new variants, Lemony Lover, a blend of lemon pieces, oregano and a hint of garlic, and Hot Chili Mama. The new flavours will also be launched in individual packs, with an rsp of 79p to £1.
