Former Accolade Wines boss Troy Christensen is returning to the wine industry to head up leading supplier Enotria.
Christensen is joining the London-based wine supplier from US bath & body company Gilchrist & Soames, where he became COO and CFO in October last year.
He was previously president of Constellation Australia and Europe, staying on as CEO of Accolade Wines after the European side of the business was acquired by Champ Private Equity in February 2011 and renamed. However he left Accolade in November 2012 a few months after a shake-up on the board that saw general manager James Lousada leave the company.
Christensen will replace outgoing CEO Alison Levett, who has headed up the company for seven years. The wine supplier said Levett had been instrumental in the transformation of the business, growing annual revenue from £52m when she joined in 2007 to over £120m last year.
Christensen will take up his post following his relocation from the US.
Enotria, which is owned by private equity firm BlueGem LP, supplies wine to leading retailers including Tesco, as well as to high-profile restaurants in the on-trade.
