Nisa’s former group sales director Andrew Mouse has set up his own consultancy - FMCG Retail & Sales Consultancy.
Mouse left the retail symbol group in October following a restructure of the company’s head office team that resulted in the creation of two new business units - for symbols and for independents & specialists.
Mouse’s consultancy will specialise in sales, retail, store marketing and EPoS services, including operational and sales development profitability analysis, business growth strategy modelling, trade marketing solutions and store marketing.
Its clients already include Nisa, McColl’s Retail Group, Rollover, Smartwater, Alpha Graphics, Goldbeach and Solvx.
Mouse joined Nisa in October 2002. He also worked for at Bernard Matthews, Currys and Gateway. In February 2013, he was named sales director of the year at the British Excellence in Sales & Marketing Awards, which are run by the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management, after he helped Nisa chalk up record recruitment figures for two consecutive years.
“Having spent over 30 years successful years in the sales and retail sector covering both the multiple and convenience channels, I felt that with the support of a network of family and friends I could provide a 360-degree perspective to companies seeking to expand their businesses within the retail sector through development of a retail and/or sales strategy linked to their short and medium-term business plans,” Mouse said.
