Former Nisa-Today's rebels Ian Hunt and Mark Proudfoot - who derailed the buying group's plans to merge with Costcutter two years ago - have again failed to be elected to the organisation's board.
At this week's AGM another former member of the now defunct Nisa Members Association - Krishan Joshi - failed to gain re-election and was replaced by Chris Futter, MD of independent retailer Redorange, who was recommended by the board.
Hunt and Proudfoot had previously tried to gain election last year in what proved to be a bitter campaign. No such tension existed this year, but the members still failed to get the necessary support.
Under the organisation's rules, four board members had to stand for re-election at the agm on Wednesday. Three members did successfully hang on to their positions - Rowan Black, Manish Dhamecha and Sucha Singh.
