Eat Real has hired former Wahaca and Camden Town Brewery MD Mark Turner.
Turner will take up the role of MD at the fast-growing snack business, which was recently snapped up by Exponent Private Equity.
As well as serving as MD of both Wahaca and Camden Town, he spent a decade at Innocent Drinks, including as its head of new market launches and general manager of Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.
Turner said he was “thrilled to be joining Eat Real at a hugely exciting time for the business”.
“With today’s consumers increasingly more focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, it is the perfect time to really drive Eat Real’s unique proposition of healthier snacks, which use all-natural, high-quality ingredients and never compromise on taste.”
Last year saw Eat Real’s parent brand Cofresh aquire a massive new factory in Nuneaton, into which it has splashed some £20m worth of investment, enabling the business to split its production between two sites, with an eye to increasing its turnover to more than £100m by 2024.
