Scottish Courage has been preparing the ground for a rush of enthusiasm in all things Australian as the Sydney Olympics get under way next month.
Foster's is the official beer of the games and has made use of this with Fostralia trade promotions, consumer competitions and revised can and pack designs.
Marketing director Brian Sharp said: "While the Olympics will not have the same impact on the take home market as Euro 2000, it is still a significant event.
"For retailers looking for an Australian beer to feature during the event, Foster's will be the natural choice. As a result we are confident of achieving significant display slots."
The brewer also has a range of Antipodean beers launched in the UK this year.
Carlton Cold, Victoria Bitter and Crown Lager were introduced to target the 700,000 Australians who visit the UK each year.
