Scottish Courage is spending £5m on a six week Foster's promotion running from the beginning of April.
Fostralia 2001 is the biggest on pack promotion that has so far supported the brand.
The budget has doubled from the similar promotion last year and is five times the amount spent on Destination Australia in 1995.
This year there will be 150 winners of a trip for two down under, and 20 of these will be specific to the off-trade.
An on pack promotion will run in 20,000 retail outlets and there will be 5,000 winning ringpulls and bottletops.
These will win a T shirt or a hat and will be entered in the draw for the holidays.
