Four Roses rolls out small batch £130 bourbon

Four Roses has unveiled a £130 bourbon.

Small Batch Limited Edition Bourbon has an abv of 53.9% and is billed as “remarkably balanced”. It contained a blend of three bourbons with “bright raspberry flavours” and “warm aromas of allspice and vanilla bean”, said the brand. Only 3,000 bottles have been produced.

It comes as sales of American whiskey are booming, up £21.1m (9.6%) to £241.4m over the past year, on volumes up 10.7% [IRI 52 w/e 22 July 2017].
