Fox’s Biscuits has expanded its Chocolatey sub-brand with a new bar format in two flavours.
Rolling out now, the new packs contain five individually wrapped bars in either Milk Chocolate & Lemon Mousse or Dark Chocolate & Raspberry Mousse flavours.
They are designed to tap demand for on-the-go, portion-controlled snacks, and are initially listed by Morrisons, Asda and Sainsbury’s. Other retailers are to follow, said 2 Sisters Food Group subsidiary Fox’s.
The launch follows the recent rollout of Fox’s New York Bakehouse Red Velvet Crunch Creams, which contain cheesecake-flavoured cream layered between two chocolate biscuits. Fox’s said sales of its Crunch Creams range were growing 9.8% year on year [Nielsen 52 w/e 10 October 2015].
“The Chocolatey bars are perfect for on-the-go snacking, offering our customers fantastic new flavours, while the Red Velvet Crunch Creams tap a new growing market for us,” said Fox’s Biscuits MD Colin Smith.
