A London company is seeking wider distribution for its range of lactose and gluten-free soups.

Soupologie, founded by former accountant Stephen Argent, produces over 20 different soups free from meat, gluten, lactose and sugar.

Summer flavours include courgette with watercress pesto tomato and fennel gazpacho and English summer vegetables (rsp: £2.39-£2.89/600g tub).

Argent started selling the soups at food markets last year after cooking them for his family.

They are now available in several independent health stores in London as well as Thornton’s Budgens and will be distributed by Marigold from this autumn.
