GlaxoSmithKline is cashing in on the booming demand for must-have gadget the iPhone with a new £600k promotion on Lucozade Energy.
The Win an iPhone Every Hour competition will give consumers the chance to claim a free iPhone by entering an on-pack code into the Lucozade website. It will feature on bottles of Orange, Original and Cherry Lucozade Energy from 1 October to 14 November.
Brand manager Andy Mahoney said the sports drink was a good brand fit for the smartphone, which was voted the best gadget of all time by Stuff Magazine earlier this year.
"We are delighted to be offering consumers the chance to win one of the most desirable gadgets of all time, every hour, for 45 days," he said.
The £600k marketing support will comprise national outdoor advertising, breaking in October.
