Heinz is offering consumers of its Linda McCartney meat-free range a free bottle of wine as part of an on-pack promotion.
Shoppers need to collect four tokens to claim a free 75cl bottle of Kumala wine, worth up to £5, and a free Wine & Dine guide containing advice on how to match Linda McCartney meals with different Kumala wines.
The promotion will run in February and March across 2.7 million packs and will be supported by advertorials in women’s weekly magazines. A direct mail initiative will give consumers a starter token, as well as the chance to win a year’s supply of Kumala wine.
“Our aim is to make meal times even more enjoyable and sociable for our consumers,” said Damian Black, brand manager for Linda McCartney.
He added: “The offer of a free bottle of wine is an extremely strong proposition, and we’re delighted to be working with Kumala Wines on the promotion as good food and good wine are the essentials for a truly enjoyable meal.”
The two wines are Chenin Blanc Chardonnay 2004 and Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2004.
