Beer importer Pierhead Purchasing is to add another brand to its global beer portfolio.
Jenlain Six is a premium blonde ale brewed by Brasserie Duyck in Jenlain, France.
The 6% abv beer - available in 330ml (rsp: £1.25) and 650ml (rsp: £2.59) bottles - is described as having a distinctive bitter finish and a hoppy nose, making it ideal to drink with a meal. Michael Cook, Pierhead’s director of imported beers, said: “It is a great time to be launching Jenlain Six as consumers enjoy matching beer with food.”
Pierhead is also importing Jenlain Ambrée, a 7.5% abv top-fermented and bottle-conditioned beer.
