India
Indian companies will offer a diverse range of food and drink products, from herbs and spices to meat and fish. Parampara Food will be showcasing its 25 variants of spice mixes as well as its Heat & Eat and Ready to Cook range of authentic Indian cuisine, which consists of recipes not found on UK supermarket shelves. These include Chhole gravy - a chickpea-based tangy gravy laced with tamarind and a hint of sugar - and Chicken Kolhapuri. One of India's largest food manufacturers, Mrs Bectors Food Specialities, will be showing its tomato ketchup, sauces, mayonnaise and condiments and Little Bee Products will be showcasing its range of honeys.
South Korea
Pickled cucumber, pickled radish and aloe vera drinks are just some of the new products being launched at this year's IFE from Korea. Consumers will also be able to get their hands on Korean Insam, which is reckoned to be the best ginseng in the world. Kimchi is another traditional Korean dish that will feature heavily at the show. Made from fermented vegetables and seasoned with chilli peppers and salt, Kimchi was first introduced around the world when it was selected as an official food at the 1984 Olympics and is now exported to 150 countries.
Australia
Australia's healthy drinks look set to be the stars of this year's show. Jugular Global Pacific will be showcasing its energy drinks with a difference. The drinks contain no caffeine, guarana or any other stimulants but still have the same effect as standard sports drinks on the market, according to the company. Confectionery will also be a key feature, with Australia's number-one nougat brand Golden Boronia on stand SK2917. It will be displaying its extensive range of flavoured nougats, which include products such as almond, apricot and cappuccino bars and its crunch candy and assorted bags of nougat.
US
The US pavilion is likely to be one of the most popular at the event. A vast array of food and drink products include seafood from Alaska, Californian-grown grapes, prunes and almonds and fruit and vegetables including cranberries, blueberries and sweet potatoes. The UK is the sixth-largest market in the world for US food and drink products. Those companies hoping to grab a slice of the action this year include Los Chileros with its range of chillies, rubs and blue corn products, and Bruce Foods, which sells products ranging from smoker and grilling kits to canned yams and sweet potatoes.
Turkey
As well as being the biggest hazelnut, sultana, dried fig and apricot producer in the world, Turkey has a lot to offer when it comes to a whole range of items - many of which will be on display at the Turkas Foods Industry stand. It will be providing information on its selection of powdered drinks, which includes mandarin, sour cherry and peach flavours, as well as its powdered puddings. Ani Biscuits' range of cakes and confectionery will be another highlight. Products on display include its Troy sandwich biscuits, Jiffy chocolate-coated wafer bar and spicy crackers.
