Cocktail mix brand Funkin has extended its partnership with Malibu rum to launch a 750ml Piña Colada mixer for the off-trade.

The co-branded mixer, which follows the launch of a one-litre format for the on-trade, is rolling into 50 Tesco stores now (rsp: £3). It is merchandised in a display with a 35cl bottle of Malibu.

The joint promotion gave consumers an “easy way” to make the cocktail at home, said Funkin senior brand manager Joana Lenkova.
