Fyffes has unveiled bumper growth in sales and profits for the first half of the year.
The fruit supplier said pre-tax profits for the six months to 30 June were up by almost a third (29.5%) to €22.4m (£17.7m).
Total sales soared to €550.1m, up 20% from last year’s mark of €458.5m.
“Fyffes has delivered a strong increase in profits for the first half of the year, driven by further organic growth in each of its product categories,” said chairman David McCann.
