Scott Garrett, vice president of brands at Heinz, has left the company.
Garrett joined the food giant in January last year as interim brand director and was promoted to the position of vice president of brands in January.
Michael Mullen, director of European corporate affairs for Heinz, said: “I can confirm that Scott Garrett has left Heinz to pursue other career opportunities.”
No reason has been given for his departure.
Garrett worked on driving the Good Food Every Day programme, which was aimed at highlighting to consumers the nutritional benefits of foods under the Heinz brand.
He was also working on the development of Heinz’s first dedicated kids food range under a joint branding partnership with the BBC’s children’s cookery programme Planet Cook which is expected to be available next month.
Garrett joined Heinz from the sportswear company Nike, where he was European advertising manager.
