Adelie Foods has appointed Gary Pothecary to its commercial convenience team to bolster its customer service.
Pothecary joins as commercial controller, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the role.
He has previously worked as KerryFresh business development controller and as Ginsters commercial manager, managing national accounts for four years.
“I’ve long respected Adelie Foods and particularly Urban Eat,” said Pothecary.
“What I’m really excited about is working with the brand team to present innovative ideas that challenge the norm in the convenience and forecourt markets, working to persuade customers into thinking of these locations for great quality food to go.”
“We’re delighted to welcome such a wealth of experience to the organisation,” added Adelie Foods CEO Martin Johnson.
“We’ve made some great progress so far towards our vision of being the preferred choice in food to go; delighting our customers and consumers with the perfect mix of quality, innovation, value and service, but we’re yet to reach our full potential. I’m confident Gary will help us to achieve our ambitious growth plans and propel us to greater success.”
