With judging now complete, the turkey industry will be waiting with bated breath for the results of the British Turkey Product of the Year Awards.
Major retailers, foodservice operators, manufacturers and butchers are represented across nine categories and organisers the British Turkey Information Service said that entry levels had soared this year, with a 300% increase in some cases.
Categories include best retail range, best own label product, best branded product, best catering product and best speciality product. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at The Landmark hotel in London on September 19.
