Gin and vodka supplier Greenall’s is expanding capacity by investing £250,000 on a third production line.
The drinks group said the expansion at its main Warrington plant was part of plans to be the UK’s biggest gin and vodka distiller and bottler.
Greenall’s, which makes own-label spirits as well as Bloom, Berkeley Square and Cristalnaya Vodka, said the investment would bring production and packaging of its brands in-house.
“The introduction of line three is an exciting time for us as a business,” operations director Mark Parton told Harpers Wine & Spirit.
“We’re now able to undertake our own brands and third-party production on site, plus there’s huge potential for growth with our new capabilities for size and shape flexibility.”
Greenall’s celebrates its 250th anniversary next year.
