Ethical brand One is launching a pack of children's plasters developed by a group of schoolgirls.
The One Careplast animal print plasters were designed by three students at Bushey Meads School, Hertfordshire, who entered a national competition to add a product to the One range, which already includes water and eggs.
The plasters go on sale exclusively in Co-operative Group stores this week (rsp: £1.39) and will fund medical kits and bicycle ambulances used by health volunteers in Malawi.
"The students pitched their idea perfectly," said Co-op CEO Peter Marks.
