Style guru Gok Wan has launched his first clothing range into Sainsbury’s.

The Gok for Tu range of 13 items launched into 200 Sainsbury’s stores this morning, with prices starting at £20.

Sainsbury’s said the collection reflected the designer’s philosophy of making women feel confident, stylish and positive about their bodies, whatever their size and shape.

“While I've styled thousands of women over the years, soon millions of women are going to be able to wear something I've created,” Wan said.

Sainsbury’s revealed in its second quarter trading update yesterday that its general merchandise and clothing business had continued to grow strongly in the second quarter, with growth “well ahead of the grocery business”.
