Cadbury Trebor Bassett has appointed Suzanne Gough portfolio manager, innovation, to head its new product development strategy.
Anthony Wells has taken over her previous role of sugar portfolio manager, where she was responsible for sales of brands such as Bassetts, Trebor, Maynards and Halls.
Before that she was marketing manager and prior to that she was group product manager.
She joined the company in 1996 as brand manager for countline brands such as Double Decker and Picnic. Before that she was at Ross Young’s working on its frozen desserts as portfolio manager for innovations.
She said she was looking forward immensely to the new role: “Innovation combines all the best elements of marketing - consumer understanding, insight, strategy and creative thinking. It also involves developing products from the initial concept to the shelf.
“I will be looking at driving growth in new areas across Cadbury Trebor Bassett’s brands.”
