Caribbean specialist Grace Foods has taken on exclusive UK distribution of Bigga - claimed to be the biggest-selling soft drink brand in Jamaica.
Grace said it hoped to grow awareness of the brand and tap into the 12% year-on-year growth in the £77m Caribbean food and drink market [IRI 52 w/e 22 June 2013].
Bigga, the flagship brand of Jamaican supplier Wisynco Group, will be available in six variants including fruit punch, pineapple and grape, and will be sold in 330ml (rsp: 39p), 600ml (rsp: 89p) and 2-litre formats (rsp: £1.59).
“Bigga is a much-loved soft drink in the Caribbean and has tremendous potential in the UK market,” said brand manager Lisa Leung.
