Scottish dairy brand Graham’s has moved into the children’s market with the launch of a flavoured yoghurt pouch range.
The new Squidgies range, which was inspired and partly designed by children from the Graham family, comes in three variants – Blueberry, Peach & Mango and Strawberry (rsp: 75p/100g).
Made using whole milk and fresh fruit, the range is aimed at on-the-go meal occasions and has rolled out into Scottish Spar stores with a regional Tesco listing set to follow from next Monday (26 October).
“Innovation and product development are something we at Graham’s pride ourselves on and this a new product specifically created for children is a first for our family dairy business,” said Graham’s MD Robert Graham.
“My children have been asking for some time if they could help develop a yoghurt product for kids, so they got stuck in from the very beginning of the process. They even worked with our product and design team on flavour combinations and packaging.”

Robert Graham’s children, Holly, Douglas and Charlie, came up with the range’s name and pack design, which features a friendly monster wearing the Graham’s brand’s signature tartan wellies and matching gloves.
The news comes after Graham’s extended its DTC offering across the east of Scotland in April as more consumers resorted to delivery services in the wake of coronavirus.
The brand came into 2020 on the back of a positive set of financial results for the year to March 2019, which saw profits rise nearly 70% thanks in part to its NPD pipeline.
