Clearly Drinks has appointed Grant Hearn to the role of sales director as the Perfectly Clear maker eyes expansion.
He will oversee sales across all trade channels for the business’ branded portfolio, including providing clear direction for new product development initiatives.
Hearn began his career in the late 1980s, spending more than 10 years with Waitrose before moving to Invicta Sales, where he worked in management positions with brands including Strongbow, Yazoo and Kettle Chips.
Before joining Northumbria Spring owner Clearly Drinks, he was sales director for frozen smoothie brand Frill – which he joined from a directorship at fmcg developer and distributor GMF Brands.
Hearn’s appointment at Clearly Drinks comes as the company – formerly known as CBL Drinks – sees a 28.4% increase in value sales for its sugar-free flavoured water brand, Perfectly Clear [Nielsen 52 w/e 8 October 2016].
“Grant’s extensive experience working across big fmcg brands in many sectors will be a real asset to the business,” said CEO Finn O’Driscoll, adding Hearn would be “instrumental in ensuring we continue our impressive growth across all channels”.
