Sicilian wine D'Istinto has joined forces with Matthew Clark Brands after it was dropped by BRL Hardy at the start of the year.
The deal with producer Calatrasi gives Grants of St James's exclusive distribution rights for the wine brand.
The wine was launched as a joint venture between BRL Hardy and Calatrasi in 1998, but the Australian giant pulled out when the brand lost some UK listings. D'Istinto has since been given a fresh start including the launch of four single varietal wines to complement the entry-level dual varietals.
Matthew Clark Brands will also take on sister brand Accademia del Sol as part of the deal.
