Mondelez is launching a range of thinner Green & Black’s bars to offer a ‘delicate eating experience’ and more flavour.
The company said it believed the new format - rolling out to supermarkets this week - would drive more incremental sales than new flavours.
Green & Black’s Organic Thin bars are 6mm thick versus the 10mm of standard G&B’s bars, but the same weight and rsp (£2.29/100g). Designed for sharing, each can be broken into eight squares, “with the quick melt of a thinner format creating a richer and more powerful burst of flavour.”
The range, backed by a £2m push, comes in four flavours: Mint Crisp, Salted Caramel, Dark 70% and Milk 37%.
