Greenall’s is expanding its flavoured gin line-up with a new Tropical Fruits flavour.
The 37.5% abv drink contains a blend of mango, passion fruit, pineapple and orange, with no artificial sweeteners or added sugar.
It will roll into Tesco on 25 July (rsp: £19.50/1ltr) and is available to the on-trade now.
Billed as “a modern take on classic fruit flavours”, the NPD was set to be “the tipple of choice for consumers’ barbecues and other get-togethers this summer”, said Greenall’s.
Greenall’s brand director Russell Smith said he was “delighted to be launching Greenall’s Tropical Fruits Gin exclusively with Tesco”.
Smith added he was “confident” shoppers would “love” the new flavour, “especially as they look to enjoy drinks at home over the summer months”.
Greenall’s certainly isn’t the only spirits brand looking to recruit new shoppers with fruity flavoured drinks this summer.
Smirnoff, for instance, last week unveiled a new berry-flavoured vodka, Berry Burst.
Gin category leader Gordon’s, meanwhile, added two new fruity flavoured drinks to its line-up earlier this year: Tropical Passionfruit and Morello Cherry.
