Gressingham is hoping to encourage more consumers to eat duck with a skinless steak that can be cooked in 10 minutes.
The steaks, in a ginger, coriander & lime marinade, are being promoted as a quick low-fat midweek supper. They would remove “the fear factor sometimes associated with cooking duck,” said Gressingham marketing director Steve Curzon.
The steaks (rsp: £5) are rolling into Sainsbury’s now at an introductory price of £4.
