Unilever is boosting its Domestos portfolio with a 'grotbusting' bleach, backed with a £2m ad campaign.

Domestos Grotbuster, available next month, is a super-thick bleach designed to cling to dirt on hard-to-reach surfaces. It comes in a 500ml bottle (rsp: £1.99). The launch is being supported with TV and print ads.

The new line would encourage shoppers to use Domestos for heavy-duty cleaning, said Cat Armitage, household cleaning category leader at Unilever.
