Famous Grouse has joined Jack Daniel's, Whyte & Mackay and Smirnoff in the rapidly growing premixer category.
Famous Grouse & Cola (rsp: £1.75) contains one measure of the Maxxium-owned Scotch and is 6% abv stronger than Whyte & Mackay's 4.5% abv effort.
Maxxium said the drink, which hits Sainsbury's in October, was part of plans to attract new drinkers to the blended Scotch.
"It's great to see an iconic and well-loved brand entering this growing market," said Sainsbury's spirits buyer Vanessa Pearson
