Halewood Artisanal Spirits has appointed Neil Jardine as MD for the UK & Ireland.
Jardine joins the business from Roust UK, where he led the innovation and sustainability programme as MD, and focused on expanding its spirits portfolio to drive business growth.
Jardine has over 25 years’ experience in the industry. He was previously MD for Disaronno UK, and held various senior roles in sales and category development positions at Nestlé, Douwe Egberts and Greene King.
As Jardine steps into the role at Halewood, former MD John Bradbury will move into a non-executive director position at the business.
Halewood was “an innovative, fast-paced spirits company with an impressive portfolio of premium spirits, from Whitley Neill gin and Dead Man’s Fingers rum to its growing whisky range, including Aber Falls and Crabbie’s”, said Jardine.
It was “a really exciting time to be joining the business”, said Jardine, adding that he looked forward to “working closely with the team to drive the business forward”.
Halewood Artisanal Spirits CEO Stewart Hainsworth said Jardine was “a great fit” for the business, thanks to his “wealth of experience within the food and drink sector”.
“We’re pleased to welcome him to his new role of managing director and look forward to working closely together in the future.”
