Lambrini owner Halewood International has launched a lower-abv fruit-flavour aimed at alcopop-loving ladies.
Botany Creek has a 7.5% abv and is available now in white and rosé (rsp: £3).
Although Halewood already owns a lower-alcohol wine in Lambrini, the drinks group said Botany Creek would plug a gap for a tipple targeted at "the original generation of consumers that discovered RTDs", said head of innovation Richard Clark.
The launch will be supported by press ads next month.
