Halfords has struck a deal with delivered wholesaler Palmer & Harvey McLane to introduce a range of confectionery to 315 stores in the run-up to Christmas.
The retailer is stocking a range of countlines at its checkouts in a bid to drive extra sales as shoppers queue.
Paul Hagon, national accounts sales director for P&H, said: “We are very enthusiastic about Halfords’ latest selling mechanic and thrilled that we were selected as chosen supplier for such an important step into sub-selling.
“Halfords understands how confident we are in our delivery service, and realises that range, support and quality are utterly fundamental to our business.”
Halfords category manager Neil Smith said: “P&H have proved themselves with consistent good quality service.”
