Martin Hall has stepped down as chief executive of The Health Lottery, just six months after its launch.
He will hand over day-to-day running of the business to David Wall, who has been IT and operations director since last year.
Hall will remain on the board as a non-executive director and will be involved in opposing the judicial review challenge from Camelot.
He spent four years with the organisation but said “it feels like the right time for me to step back from day-to-day operations” following the game’s launch.
Richard Desmond, whose Northern & Shell company operates The Health Lottery, thanked Hall for leading the launch of the brand.
Hall thanked Richard Desmond for his ongoing investment into the new draw.
“Without it we would not have to date been able to help raise over £15m to give to health-related causes in every region of the country, or give more than 430,000 winners something to cheer about on a Saturday night,” he said.
