Hardys has set its sights on the under £5 market with a new set of wines from Australia.
Brand owner Constellation Wines claims the Hardys Voyage line extension is the first to offer consumers wines blended with three grapes for less than a fiver.
Aimed at encouraging drinkers to experiment with a “unique wine style”, two wines were launched at this week’s Australia Day tasting.
A white Colombard, Verdelho, Chenin Blanc and a red Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Ruby Cabernet are available for £4.49. Support for the two entry point level wines will come from PoS material and trade press advertising.
