Haribo has unwrapped what it claims is its biggest-ever Christmas range in a bid to challenge the dominance of chocolate during the festive season.
New products in the Christmas line-up, rolling out now, include handy packs of Sparkly Stars star-shaped sour-coated treats, Merry Snowmen foam and jelly snowmen shapes, and Jolly Santas fruit-flavoured Santa-shaped jellies (rsp: 49p/50g).
A Santa's Selection tube (rsp: £1.29) featuring the handybags is also being added to the seasonal portfolio, which the sweet maker described as its "biggest to date".
"Our growth during the 2010 season demonstrated a growing demand for gums and jellies," said MD Herwig Vennekens.
Festive tubes of Tangfastics, Starmix and Super Mix also form part of the range, together with a Haribo Christmas Mix sharing bag (rsp: £1.29/235g).
