Harry Tuffins will open its first Nisa Extra branded store next week.
The store, in Lydney, Gloucestershire, is one of two new stores the independent retailer will open within the next two weeks after snapping up two Somerfield stores from the Co-operative Group in November last year.
The second opens in Coleford, Gloucestershire, on 17 February.
Lydney is 11,000 sq ft and Coleford is 5,000 sq ft and the retailer is planning to expand the non-food offers that were in Somerfield into a more comprehensive range as well as support local producers.
"Lydney will be our first full Nisa Extra symbol store and we hope it benefits from the Tuffins name for delivering value for money locally alongside the new national press advertising that Nisa-Today's has initiated recently," said managing director Paul Delves.
