Menopause supplements brand Health & Her has unveiled a four-strong range aimed at “the 16.8 million over-40s men in the UK”.
Health & Him is designed to tackle the effects of andropause, the gradual decline in testosterone levels men experience as they age – typically from their late 40s or early 50s. As a result, they can face mood changes, memory and concentration issues, low energy, sleeplessness, reduced muscle mass and decreased libido.
“By the time men reach their 50s, they may have lost between 30% and 50% of their testosterone levels vs. their 20s,” said Health & Her.
Comprising Andropause 40+, Andropause 55+, Desire and Night (rsp: £21.99/60 capsules), the Health & Him lineup combines vitamins, minerals and active botanicals, such as pantothenic acid, zinc and chamomile. It supports the likes of heart function, sexual desire, blood sugar levels and bone health. It also promises to combat fatigue and help to maintain normal psychological function.

Health & Her had “spent many years working with experts and conducting research in hormone health”, said co-founder & CEO Kate Bache. “It’s exciting to finally use this deep knowledge and insight to develop a range of supplements to support men.”
The Health & Him lineup meant “men over 40 will be able to take back control of their midlife vitality and make other changes in their lifestyle to improve their overall wellbeing,” she added.
