Heinz has revamped its Heinz Little Kidz toddler meal range with refreshed packaging and a new sub-brand for toddlers aged 18 to 24 months.
Three new products have been introduced specifically for older toddlers to offer foods with more texture and new flavours to help children develop their taste buds. The line-up comprises tomato & mozzarella pasta shells, pasta Bolognese and chicken and sweetcorn risotto (rsp: £1.55). They contain one of the child’s five-a-day and have been reinforced with iron and either calcium, protein or a source of fibre.
“We identified that toddlers have a key stage of development between one to three-years-old that needs to be met,” said Heinz infant feeding marketing manager Christina Honigfort.
“The relaunch sees a step towards meeting toddlers’ true nutritional and developmental needs, and clear texture differentiation and just the right nutrition at each age stage.”
