Food delivery service HelloFresh is partnering with chef Jamie Oliver in a deal that will see customers able to choose his recipes.
HelloFresh develops recipes and delivers a box of all the necessary ingredients direct to customers’ doors.
From January 2016, HelloFresh customers in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, US and Austria will be able to choose Jamie Oliver recipes and get them delivered direct to their door.
HelloFresh will also donate to the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation per Meal Box sold during the partnership as well as support other Foundation activities.
“We want to give everyone – regardless of the time they have at their disposal or the cooking skills they possess – an opportunity to discover the pleasure of cooking healthy, tasty meals,” said Dominik Richter, co-founder and CEO of HelloFresh. “In Jamie we have found the best, most trusted and most committed partner for this mission”.
Oliver will also become a shareholder in the business. “Being time poor is one of our greatest challenges these days and we know this often impacts on how we feed ourselves,” said Oliver. “It’s an issue I’ve tried to tackle head on and one that HelloFresh solves in a clever and comfortable way. HelloFresh delivered 13.2 million meals in the three months ended 30 September 2015 and has more than 530,000 active subscribers globally.
