Recipe box company HelloFresh is launching a series of food and drink experiences called FreshMeets.
The first, to be held tonight (3 May) at its London HQ The Fresh Farm, will focus on cooking with spices. The ‘Spice up your life’ night will include a cooking demo and Q&A with Middle East chef Sabrina Ghayour, a cocktail masterclass with award-winning mixologist and The Gilbert Scott executive bar manager Dav Eames, and food from London street food stall The Cheeky Indian.
HelloFresh is charging £10 per ticket, which includes a donation to London food waste charity The Felix Project.
The dates for future events are set to be unveiled shortly.
“We’re really excited to launch FreshMeets and it’s really fitting that we’ve chosen spice as our first theme. At HelloFresh, we’re focused on delivering delicious dishes with a twist that take the customer around the world on their plate, using a medley of spices and interesting ingredients,” said Patrick Drake, head chef and co-founder of HelloFresh.
“We don’t think spice should be something to be scared of - it can add so much variety to a dish. We hope through this event we’ll be able to share our passion for all things spice. Plus we get to support one of our favourite charities, The Felix Project, at the same time.”
