Henderson Group has said it expects to record double-digit growth for its foodservice division in 2013 after “significant contract wins” with hospitals and prisons.

The Northern-Irish wholesaler said its foodservice division had enjoyed a “very successful year” with sales growth of over 10%. It also invested £750,000 last year in its warehouse management system.

It added that in 2014 it planned to “invest heavily” in vehicles, new stores and property.
