Hill Brothers is aiming to grow the UK’s biggest potted poinsettia in a bid to promote the variety ahead of the festive season.

The Chichester-based ornamental flower supplier has been growing the plant for 10 weeks and it is already as tall as four-and-a-half-year-old Monty Hill (pictured).

The challenge is part of the Stars of Europe promotional campaign aimed at growing awareness of poinsettias amongst the public.
